Fr. Gerald Murray, JCD is pastor of Holy Family Church in New York City and often appears on Raymond Arroyo’s EWTN show “The World Over.” Frequently, Fr. Murray appears on the program with Robert Royal, Editor-in-Chief of The Catholic Thing and President of Faith & Reason Institute in Washington, D.C., where Father’s prowess in canon law is sought regarding current events at the highest levels of the Church. Though clear and unwavering in his discourse, Fr. Murray’s demeanor is both charitable and pastoral.
In a recent episode, I particularly appreciated his take on the so-called “Synod on Synodality” that could end up being a “moment of crisis” for the Church if the coalition of those who run these types of meetings end up pushing a heretical position on homosexuality. We are really in frightening times that need so much prayer!
